After changing ownership to me I had to go to the Effective Permissions tab and add my user with full priviliges and only then go to the security tab and change I've rebooted it 28 times today according to the Application log, not counting the times other techs of the user did today or previous days.  Edit: Interesting note the second time we rejoined the domain Now go to Security tab, and hit the Edit button.
